Advanced Legal Update and Fair Housing Seminar on November 8th presented by Annie Murphy

On November 8, 2022, at 10:00am, Annie Murphy will be presenting an online advanced legal update and fair housing seminar for the CHFA Reach program, which is a training program delivering cost-effective housing education to stabilize and enrich affordable housing communities statewide. In the seminar, Murphy will highlight some of the fair housing cases that have been considered by HUD over the last year and discuss what we can learn from them.

In addition, Murphy will give a review of the important landlord/tenant laws that were changed last year and how they are being applied by various county courts.

We recommend that all participants have a basic knowledge of Fair Housing laws prior to attending this class. Fair Housing 101 classes are offered by CHFA at no cost to participants. The next Fair Housing Basics class is on Thursday, September 8, 2022.
