ABOUT SCOTT
Scott grew up in Palisade and, wanting to focus his law practice on serving the Western Slope community, returned to his roots.

In 2021, Scott earned his J.D. with a certificate in business and transactional law from the Washburn University School of Law. During his time at Washburn, he served on the Washburn Student Bar Association, participated in Washburn’s Small Business & Nonprofit Transactional Law Clinic, and his research was published by the Wayne State University Journal of Business Law.

Scott joined Dufford Waldeck as a law clerk, gaining valuable in-firm experience while completing his law degree, before becoming an Associate. Prior to law school, he helped manage a nonprofit transportation company seeking to reduce DUIs and carbon emissions at high-risk events, while traveling the world during the off-season.
Out of the office, he enjoys outdoor activities, working in his family’s vineyard, attending concerts, and traveling.
