To Our Valued Clients and Business Partners:
Dufford Waldeck is open and happy to be helping our clients. Our priority continues to be the health and safety of our employees, clients, and business partners. Most of our employees are working in the office, and we’re fortunate to have sufficient space in our suite to maintain adequate distance. In the event it’s necessary, all our employees have been outfitted with technology to enable them to work remotely.
Many courts have begun online hearings, so we’ve outfitted both of our conference rooms as “courtrooms,” installing a new computer, HD camera, professional microphone, and lights. We continue to work with our clients to limit in-person contact by conducting our meetings using video conferencing and phone calls rather than in-person meetings.
Your safety is a primary concern of ours. If you do come into our office, we ask you to wear a mask. We sanitize our lobby and conference spaces after each client visit. When we meet with you, our staff are masked and will typically use our large conference room where we can sit at least 6’ apart. Our conference rooms have been outfitted with sneeze guards for additional protection.
Whenever possible, we’ll be sending you documents via email rather than in paper form. If we do need your original signature, along with notarizing or witnessing your important legal documents, we can meet with you in our office or curbside.
We also encourage you to use our website link to pay your bill online at https://www.dwmk.com/pay-your-bill.
All of us here at Dufford Waldeck are committed to assisting our clients in this time of uncertainty and are grateful for your continued trust and confidence in our firm.
Given the CDC recommendations, during the COVID-19 pandemic we are offering in-office or curbside notarizing/witnessing for your important legal documents.
For curbside, you stay in your car in front of our office. We will bring you the documents and witness your signing of them while you stay in the car. We will complete the witnessing and notarizing back in our office and mail you the completed documents, along with any copies you may need.
If you prefer, you are welcome to come to our office, with two options: you may sign in our freshly sanitized large conference room, and our witnesses and notary will be physically distanced and masked, or you may sign in our other conference room, also sanitized, and we will witness from behind the glass.
We are happy to accommodate your preference and hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy during these difficult times.
We fulfill our mission of ensuring that each client receives exceptional, personalized attention by:
listening carefully to you and asking questions to understand your needs;
providing you feedback on your options and the scope of our work;
offering you practical solutions that make sense and protect your family, your business, and your future; and
clearly communicating with you at each step in the process.
