ABOUT BEN
Ben recently graduated from the University of Wyoming College of Law and is a new associate at Dufford Waldeck. Before law school, Ben enjoyed a diverse work history with time spent as a camp counselor, line cook, landscaper, customer service professional, concierge, nanny, bartender, and many other jobs. During law school, Ben served as President of the student chapter of Equal Justice Wyoming, and also served as a research assistant for Professor George Mocsary, providing research in the areas of corporations, securities regulation, and firearms law. Never one to sit still, Ben spent his summers in law school interning with the Consumer Protection Division of the Wyoming Attorney General’s Office, as well as with a prominent personal injury firm located in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Ben is a first-generation lawyer, and is passionate about making the law accessible and putting complex legal concepts to work for regular people. To that end, he is currently serving as a Volunteer Special Advocate for child victims of abuse and neglect. When not working, you can find Ben playing with his rescue dog named Cholula, and spending time in the outdoors with his lovely wife Flo.
