Rich specializes in civil litigation, governmental litigation, and real estate litigation, including landlord/tenant issues.  He joined the firm in 2023 after a long and distinguished career at the Mesa County District Attorney’s Office.  He graduated from the University of Colorado School of Law in 1989 and is licensed to practice in Colorado. 

Rich grew up in Pueblo, Colorado, and moved to Grand Junction immediately after law school.  As a prosecutor, Rich developed a reputation as a tenacious trial attorney, successfully prosecuting countless homicide cases.  In 2012, Rich was named “Colorado Prosecutor of the Year” by the Colorado District Attorney’s Council. 

Outside the office, Rich enjoys spending time with his wife Lori, daughter Sydney and son Christian.  They particularly like spending time with their two dogs, Stark and Cowboy.  Rich also enjoys reading fiction and non-fiction, trail running, and skiing.  Rich serves on the Judicial Performance Commission for the 21st Judicial District.
