Congratulations to Lauren F. O'Dell, Dufford Waldeck's newest Partner!

Dufford Waldeck is excited to announce that as of January 1, 2023, Lauren O'Dell is a partner in the Firm. Lauren joins the nine current partners in guiding the firm’s successful law practice. Lauren specializes in estate planning, probate, estate/trust litigation, conservatorships and guardianships, real estate litigation, and landlord/tenant issues.

Lauren earned her way to partnership through hard work, dedication to our clients, and demonstrated leadership. She has consistently proven her commitment to her clients and to grow the firm’s presence in the community. Lauren currently sits on the HopeWest NextGen Board. She is also a member of the local and state Bar Associations, and was a past board member of the Colorado Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division.

Lauren joined Dufford Waldeck after graduating from the University of Wyoming College of Law with honors in 2016. Because she grew up in a small town in the southwest corner of Wyoming, she enjoys and understands the Western Colorado and Eastern Utah lifestyle and hopes to continue representing those ideals in her legal practice.

Outside of the office, Lauren likes exploring the Western Slope with her husband, Tyler, and dogs, Zeke and Bridger. She also enjoys attending community events, reading, cooking, golfing, and visiting the local wineries and breweries.
