Senior Law Day in GJ
Dufford Waldeck is pleased to once again sponsor this fun and information-filled event. Senior Law Day happens at the Two Rivers Convention Center, on Friday, August 17, 2018. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. and the information sessions start at 8:30.
The cost of admission is only $5.00, which includes coffee and other beverages, plus a great lunch and access to over thirty exhibitors specializing in the needs of Grand Valley Seniors. There will also be opportunities to sit in on presentations from local experts.
Prior years’ topics included such issues as reverse mortgages, estate planning, elder abuse, and how to protect yourself from fraud. This year you may also receive a free one-on-one 15-minute consult with a local attorney. These consultations will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis, so plan to show up early if you would like to speak directly with an attorney.
Annie Murphy will be presenting an estates planning program at 2 pm entitled "Guardian/Conservator 101: When is it necessary?"
