Rich Krohn retires after 42 years with DWMK

The partners at Dufford Waldeck announce the retirement of Rich Krohn effective August 31, 2018, and congratulate Rich on what can truly be called a successful career. As Sam Starritt so eloquently stated when Rich officially informed us he was retiring:

"It’s never easy to say farewell to a long-standing partner of the firm. Rich, you have been instrumental in our success as a firm, and your commitment to providing outstanding client service has helped us become a preeminent law firm. Your knowledge and experience have guided all of us here. You will be greatly missed."

Rich spent his 42-year legal career at Dufford Waldeck and made a name for himself as the legal real estate guru in Colorado for his expertise in real estate transactions, business, and financing. In addition to private clients, Rich has been the attorney relied upon by the Colorado Public Trustees, the Colorado County Treasurers, and the Grand Junction Housing Authority.

Due to his expertise and state-wide reputation, the governor appointed Rich to a second three-year term on the Colorado Real Estate Commission. He is also a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, and past chair of the Real Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association.

Our firm prides itself on our attorneys’ depth and breadth of expertise. There will be no lapse in service to Rich’s clients who have already been paired with Jill Norris, or other attorneys in our office. Jill has been working directly with Rich over the past three years in anticipation of this event. Like everything Rich did, his retirement was handled with vision, planning, and precision.

Although we will all miss having Rich in the office, he has well-earned the opportunity to devote all of his time to his family, grandchildren, traveling and writing.

Thank you Rich for your tireless years of hard work and dedication. Congratulations and best wishes in retirement!
