Labor/Employment/Benefits
Sam D. Starritt
In today's turbulent personnel and labor relations environment, the first line of defense is knowing the legal implications of employment decisions before the decisions become liabilities. DWMK's Employment Law Section provides employers advice on personnel policies and practices, handbooks, hiring and firing, workers' compensation, wage and hour, unemployment and civil rights claims, wrongful discharge, and a myriad of employment law issues including employee benefits and ERISA. We also represent and advise employees in the areas of wrongful discharge, civil rights, discrimination, negotiating contracts, and benefits.
The attorneys in this section are experienced litigators, representing employers and employees before arbitrators, state and federal agencies and courts.
