We assist borrowers and lenders in the preparation of loan and collateral security documents for commercial, industrial, residential development and farm and ranch properties. We are adept at preparing loan and collateral documents like promissory notes, deeds of trust and other security agreements. We also assist clients in the acquisition and development of real estate, as well as construction financing, and both borrowers and lenders in refinancing, workout transactions and foreclosure proceedings.
We have been retained by both purchasers and sellers in connection with the acquisition or sale of vacant land, residences, farms and ranches, condominiums, and commercial projects such as retail businesses, office buildings, industrial buildings, apartments and shopping centers by drafting and monitoring the contract, the title documents, the diligence period, and the final deeds necessary for the conveyance. When a real estate transaction has required a change in land-use, we have successfully represented our clients in zoning, subdivision, and platting and other land use planning activities before municipal, county and state governmental agencies and authorities.
We have represented both landlords and tenants in connection with commercial and residential leasing arrangements and litigation, including forcible entry and detainer (eviction) actions. Our experience ranges from drafting and negotiating agricultural leases to complex commercial leases of retail, office and industrial space.
